So, you probably notice the theme of this blog--Autumn or Fall. This will be the theme for our wedding! We both really love the fall (especially a Michigan fall) and all the beautiful colors of the changing leaves. After tossing around ideas for a theme, we thought we'd incorporate our love for the fall into our special day.We cannot wait to look at all the creative fall/autumn ideas for a cake, hall decorations, table settings, invitations, etc.!
Hopefully we'll be announcing a date soon. We'll keep you posted!

Kate and I love autumn. It's our favorite season too. We've also been to a couple autumn themed weddings. One had pumpkin centerpieces with autumn colored flowers inside. At another wedding they had hearts carved into jack-o-lanterns. There were also corn stalks tied to the hall's pillars and bales of hay were added for that extra touch.
We suggest simple yet elegant, maybe floating candles, dried leaves and twigs. Try earthy but keep it in your taste. If you want more suggestions we'll keep thinking.
